China Suntien Green Energy Corporation Limited was established on 9 February 2010 with contributions made by the promoter shareholders of Hebei Construction & Investment Group Co., Ltd. (HECIC) and HECIC Water Investment Co., Ltd. The Company was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 13 October 2010 (H-share stock code: 00956). The listing of the Company’s A Shares was completed on 29 June 2020 (A-share stock code: 600956) at the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Company is a leader in the development and utilisation of clean energy in North China. It has two major business segments: wind/PV power and natural gas.

The Company is engaged in the planning, development, and operation of wind farms as well as the sale of electricity, and owns wind/PV power projects in Hebei, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Shandong, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia and other regions. Based in Hebei, the Company has invested in and developed wind power projects across the country and seeks suitable investment projects overseas. As at 31 December 2022, the Company had consolidated installed capacity of 5,811.85 MW, management capacity of 6,072.45 MW, and attributable capacity of 5,482.49 MW. In 2022, the Company’s gross wind power generation was 14.031 billion kWh with 2,485 utilisation hours.

The Company possesses natural gas transmission and ancillary facilities in Hebei Province, and sells natural gas through natural gas distribution channels. As at 31 December 2022, the Company owned 9 long-distance natural gas transmission pipelines, 21 high-pressure branch pipelines, 32 city gas projects, 31 distribution stations, 19 gate stations, 6 CNG primary filling stations, 3 CNG refilling sub-stations, 3 LNG refilling stations, and 2 L-CNG combined filling stations. In 2022, the Company claimed 4.501 billion cubic metres of natural gas transportation volume and 3.885 billion cubic metres of natural gas sales volume.
